Jake says, "Happy Birthday Granny!"

Jake and I went to Marion last week to celebrate my grandmother's 84th birthday! I was a little nervous about driving that far by myself with the little guy, but he did GREAT! He just played and slept the entire trip there and back. I'm a proud mama!

Jake's 2 month stats!

Jake had his 2 month check up this week, so I thought I'd update the blog with his new stats!

Weighed 12 pounds, 9 oz: 75th% on weight
24 inches long: 75th% on height
Head was in the 50th% - can't remember how big it was! :)

He was a real trooper for his shots. He cried when she stuck him, but as soon as it was over he was smiling and sucking down his bottle. Luckily, Daddy went with us and held his little legs while the mean nurse was sticking him....Mommy got to swoop in afterwards and be the hero! Life is good!

We're headed to Fayetteville this weekend to cheer on the Hogs. My parents are coming in town to keep my little guy Saturday. This will be my first night away, so hopefully I will relax and enjoy it! If not....I'll just make Greg drive me back in the middle of the night! :) Just Kidding...we'll be fine!

Go Hogs!

Happy Harvest

Greg and I are really enjoying this beautiful weather! We went to the Pumpkin Patch this weekend with Jay, Brooke and Baylor. Jake got to go on his very first hay ride and we got some great pics of the babies!

We love Fall! Football, changing leaves, cooler weather and holiday shopping! Okay, so maybe the holiday shopping is just what I like about Fall...not necessarily Greg! This Fall is especially nice, because I get to be at home and enjoy it with Jake!

Jake didn't last through the entire trip! Getting sleepy!

Ok, so not giving speeches just yet, but we're impressed!
