Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all my friends and family! I hope everyone enjoyed the day and loved on their little ones!

Greg made breakfast for me this morning, and Jake and I ate in bed. So, our day started out GREAT. Then, we went to Sunday School (late because Jake thought he needed to eat us out of house and home before we left) and went to church with Greg's parents in Carlisle. We spent the afternoon in Carlisle and then headed to the Zoo. It was Jake's first Zoo outing. I can't tell if he had fun or not - he was really more interested in the people watching while we were there! :)

Happy Mother's Day!

What would a trip to the zoo be without a picture of a giant gorilla?

So much to say...

There is so much to say and catch up on, but there is NO time to say it all. So, here are the highlights.... Jake is 9 months old, happy, health and wonderful. He is such a little sweetie pie and is growing by leaps and bounds. He is such a little flirt and loves smiling at the ladies! (He obviously gets that from his daddy!)

Greg and I have been so busy. Greg closed out his fiscal year with Medtronic very strong. I'm so proud of how good he is at his job and how hard he works. I have been out of town alot, but he manages to be a great husband, daddy and salesman....all at the same time! I finished my management development program in March - a program I've been working on for 2-1/2 years! So, I was very excited! As soon as I finished, my Managing Director asked me to help manage a team in Shreveport, LA. Its a temporary gig and one that is giving me a GREAT experience. But, you can only imagine how hard it is to be gone so often and driving so much! YIKES!

We've been doing a little traveling in the middle of all of this, including a trip to Fayetteville for Jake's first Razorback baseball game. Its been wild here and keeps getting more and more interesting! BUT, we love it!

Here are some pics of the last month!

Jake with his Nan (my mom). He was one tired little boy this day!

Jake and his Pappaw in Marion.

LOVE this pic! 3 of my FAVORITE guys!

Jake's first Razorback game. He was such a trooper! He slept through an inning or two and cheered on the Hogs with us the rest of the game. Unfortunately, our cheers weren't enough to pull out a win against Auburn! :(
OHHH...I love this face!

Jake's First Easter

Jake had a great first Easter! We went to Marion to celebrate with my family. Jake was spoiled rotten all weekend long! He got all kinds of gifts and goodies!! And I have to say -- he looked ADORABLE in his little Easter outfit!

I hope everyone had a great Easter holiday and rejoiced in His resurrection!

Roxy's new friend

Roxy, our golden, had a friend over this weekend! We kept Erika and Frank's golden (friends from church) this weekend and the two of them quickly became friends....so cute! Jake just loved watching them chase each other and play. Funny thing is...we knew Roxy was small and looks especially small when we have her shaved. BUT - we had no idea just how small. Lady is 90 pounds and dwarfs Roxy! BUT - size didn't matter to either dog - they played like they were a perfect match!

This was the best I could do...Roxy HATES cameras!

He was laughing like this because the dogs were chasing each other in his room!

Watching every move those two make!

Oh, now he reallly thinks they are funny!!! :)
