Jingle Bells

Christmas has flown by again this year. Its so wonderful to spend time with friends and family and see all of our nieces and nephews. Its hard to believe next Christmas we'll have a little one of our own to spoil.

This Christmas, we were so fortunate to have Caden, Greg's nephew, home from California. Tammy, Brandon and Caden came home in December and will be staying here for a while. Caden is almost four now and is growing so quickly. He gets so excited when his cousins, Morgan and Madison, are around. He quickly turns into a little ball of energy and wears his cousins out.

Christmas at the Veazey's was great, especially since Gracen made an appearance. This is Greg's cousin's, Amanda, little girl. She is so precious and sweet. I follow her on her blog, but the pictures just don't do her justice. She's even more beautiful in person!

The Spence family Christmas was really two-fold this year! On December 20, we had my dad's side of the family at our house for a Christmas dinner. We had about 20 people here, including six wild kids! Greg and I had just bought a Wii, and it was a good thing we did! It kept the kids entertained for hours.

We went to my parents house Christmas Eve and Christmas day. My niece and nephew are getting so big. I really think they will be great cousins to our little one on the way. My brother, Kevin, and sister-in-law, Tonya, got the baby the CUTEST razorback outfit. I'm sure it is one of many to come!

We hope all our friends and family enjoyed the Christmas season as much as we did and have a terrific New Years!

Expecting!

Well, Greg and I are officially having a baby! We had our first ultrasound yesterday. The baby looks great and has a due date of August 4! So, by next Razorback season, we'll have an addition to the Veazey home in Cabot. It was incredible to see the baby's heartbeat yesterday!! You know you're pregnant when the "pee-on-a-stick" kit tells you so, but its an entire new sense of reality when you see the baby's heart flutter for the first time! I can't wait to actually hear it.

I'll try to keep you posted on the progress through this blog, but I'm not "blogger-savy".... so forgive me!

Greg and I also just returned from NYC with some friends. We spent four days there and saw so much...including the Rockafeller Christmas Tree, which is HUGE! We had the opportunity to see Wicked on Broadway while we were there. For those of you who don't know (Jared), this is the backstory of The Wizard of Oz. If you're ever in NYC (or Memphis this summer), go see Wicked! It was awesome.

Greg and I in Times Square! The number of people moving in and out of this spot is amazing...buses coming and leaving, people shopping, people getting on and off the subway and TONS of cabs! Its no Cabot, Arkansas- that's for sure!
