Rookie of the Year- Eli Veazey

We celebrated the little guy’s first birthday today.  We did a baseball theme…. since Eli is our Rookie of the Year!   So many friends and family joined us at the party to celebrate his first year.  It seems kind of crazy to have a big bash  for a one-year-old, but I just can’t think of anything else more worthy of celebration!  He is a wonderful gift from God, and I will gladly celebrate BIG!

Quick Getaway to Sunny California

Greg's team at work won a sales contest last year and the prize was basically a free weekend getaway for his team and their spouses. We stayed in Huntington Beach at a beautiful resort. While there, we got to do a little driving around and spey some time in Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. The views at these places are some of the best in the world.... Not to mention the actual beaches were so gorgeous and clean. We truly had an incredible time!

The last night there we had dinner overlooking the beach above. Oh.My.Word. It was gorgeous! We were actually at the Ritz in Newport Beach, so I got to pretend I was royalty for the night! Ha!

While there, Greg found out he won Presidents Club!!!! It is such an accomplishment. He works so hard, so you can imagine it is quite rewarding to see your efforts pay off. And pay off they did- we are going to Australia in May!!!!!
