I started back the first week of January and what a week to start back! It didn't get over 25 degrees all week. This week has been much nicer. I'm adjusting to work and Jake is adjusting to Nana's. I'm pretty sure he has a much easier adjustment! This first few months are going to be rough. I'm traveling a lot and am going to be away from Jake for four days at the end of the month. I'm pretty sure that is going to be brutal. :(
So, what's Jake up to? He's 5-1/2 months old now. He weighs about 19 pounds (big boy) and smiles alot. He cut his first tooth TODAY! He sits up all by himself for about 2-3 minutes and then he topples over. He loves his bumbo seat and anything he can fit in his mouth. He reaches for EVERYTHING now and is very interested in our food. We're feeding him one meal a day of baby food, but soon plan to move up to two and then three. He takes four bottles a day- 8, 12, 4, and 7:30. He sleeps through the night - still swaddled. (yes, I know...I should stop swaddling, but he LOVES it!) And best of all....he is a WONDERFUL baby! He's happy most of the time and rarely gets fussy. He's my little prince charming!
