Growing Up

Lately, the fact that Jake is leaving the toddler phase (or has completely grown out of it), has been glaring me in the face. Somehow, turning four a month ago made him so much older.
He has chores. Like real- actually helping- chores. He earned $2 and spent it today at Wal-Mart. He chose a rubber dinosaur that he couldn't be more proud of.




He is riding a bicycle, cleaning up his own area after dinner, memorizing scripture, and learning to be concerned about what is a healthy food choice and what is not! Where did my little, toddling, pull-up wearing baby boy???
